Since my artist residency at A Word of Art in South Africa I’ve had an itch to work on my visual art and in the last 3 months I’ve been working plenty of hours investigating a relationship between photography and objects.

Right now wood has been the object that has held my curiosity and on the real I really am loving the relationship between the two. So when I was invited a couple of weeks ago to show as a guest artist at the TFK group show I was I’m pretty stoked to show the work I’ve been developing. I’ll be showing one piece that I’m working on as we speak and look forward to seeing how this thing comes out.

The show will be at Brockton Gallery in Toronto

Also at the show I am selling 10 limited edition piece that I also hand made in case you can’t leave with the original, I’ll be selling them for $40 each. Each one will vary, so each piece is truly a one of a kind.

• DIGITAL PRINT on 1/4” thick 4×8’ ACRYLIC sheet, LASER CUT around model

CAMOUFLAGE (Total: 59 pieces), “ATTACK”, and 8 Planes.

• Individual pieces are LASER-CUT out of 1/4” thick ACRYLIC transparent sheets
• Then edges of pieces are masked with masking tape
• Undersides of all pieces are sprayed with “MONTANA” paints (highend Graffitti paint).
